Chapter Two
Botany is For Hippies

Cabin Four was woken up the next day by a fierce rapping on the door. Wiping the sleep from his eyes, Kyle hopped off of his bunk and stumbled over to the door, Stan right on his heels. When the boys opened the door, they found a slip of paper taped it. Interested, Kyle ripped the paper off of the door and read over it, Stan looking over his shoulder just as intrigued.
"Oh boy." Kyle muttered and shook his head, causing his giant afro of red hair to sway around and smack Stan around a bit.
"Dude!" Stan grunted, blocking his face from another hair attack as his friend realized what he just did. Giving a sheepish sorry, Kyle handed Stan the paper.
"Turns out we have Botany today." Not understanding Kyle's reaction, Stan looked up at him from the paper like one does when being talked to in a foreign and unknown language.
"So?"
"So we have the Hippie teacher. Cartman HATES hippies." Kyle explained and Stan's eyes grew round.
"Oh dear God." Cartman immediately zoomed up from his sleep- his eyes blood-shot and angry.
"WHOTHEHELLSAIDHIPPIES!?! WHERE'S THE HIPPIE!!!" Stan and Kyle groaned, today was definitely going to be a long day. Noticing for the first time that Kenny wasn't on his bunk, Stan blinked.
"Hey, where'd Kenny go?"
"Kenny? Aw, he's over here." Butters informed the boys, pointing over to the corner in which Kenny was twitching back and forth in a fetal position mumbling things like a mad man. "I think his little game went and turned off. He's been like that ever since I got up." The boy noted, causing Kyle and Stan to exchange glances.
"I don't know which one's scarier- the fact that Kenny actually used up his battery already, or the fact that he's going to be like this for the next month or so." Kyle mumbled as Kenny gave him a rabid, blank stare and shakily said something.

"Aw man- this is Bull!" Cartman cursed angrily, stopping along the path with the rest of his cabin. "We have to go and listen to some Hippie preach to us!!! I. HATE. HIPPIES."
"We know." Stan gave an exasperated sigh, sending Cartman further on his rant.
"I mean, what's a hippie going to tell us!?" He made a face, "Go and smoke some weed k? Oh yeah, and while you're at it make a drum circle because the government is all against us k?" He pinched his face together angrily and growled. "EEEEERRRREEERN!"
"Ah give it a rest Cartman." Kyle replied as the group came to the Botany classroom where Miss. Juana and Cabin Two were waiting. She had long red hair which was held up by a very colorful headband and a flower right above her ear- she was dressed very light for such cold, snowy temperatures- having a purple tank top and jeans without shoes. Seeing the children she waved to them, gracefully.
"Good Morning children~. Come and take a seat- but be wary of the plants!" Cartman just stood there for a bit taking in the scene. It was an effing Ginger Hippie. The boy shook his head.
"You're just begging for me to hate you."

After all the children had been seated, Miss Juana, who was, of course, in a yoga sitting position, gave them all a tranquil grin. She then broke into a welcoming speech, Cartman crudely imitating everything she did.
"Good morning class~, it's nice to see all of your smiling face today. Good to know that the man can't put everyone down~. Now, since we're just getting to know each other we should go around and introduce ourselves. Now, who would like to go first? How about the little dude who seems so intrigued in my words over there?" Seeing that she was pointing to Cartman, Stan slapped his hand against his head and Kyle tilted his head back and groaned. Cartman pointed at himself as if to make sure, and when he got approval he broke off into an introduction.
"Hello everyone! My name is- SUCK MY BALLS. I'm not doing this you fucking hippie." Kiichigo and Mishiga exchanged an 'Oh crud' look, hearing what he had done and Cartman just sat there grinning smugly. However, what happened next was anything but what Cartman was expecting. Miss Juana practically exploded on the boy, landing him a good one in the jaw and sending him a fair amount of yards away.
"LISTEN UP YOU RETARD! YOU'RE GOING TO DO THIS- AND YOU'RE GONNA DO IT GOOD OR ELSE I'M GONNA HIT LOWER!!!" She quickly switched her evil face to one of peaceful-hippieness again. "So would you like to try again?" Cartman just stared blankly for a while and then mumbled in disbelief.
"What the hell are you?" While Kyle, Stan, and even Kenny froze and watched the Teacher and Cartman boggle eyed, Zakuro jumped up and down in her sitting position- obviously amused.
"You know- you should probably do the Roundhouse next time Miss Juana! It was totally killer last time!!" The teacher only smiled at her and shook her head.
"Whatever are you talking about, Zakuro?"
"Zak. I go by 'Zak'."
"Oh, of course." Turning back to Cartman, she smiled, mouth twitching.
"So, would you like to try again?" Cartman angrily pulled himself up from the snow and flipped her off.
"Fuck you, Hippie!!" This was soon confronted Miss Juana smashing him a good one on the head- sending the boy slamming into the snow. Smiling at him, Miss Juana lifted his head up.
"Man, you look totally wasted..." Cartman struggled to lift his head, revealing a scowl.
"Suck my balls, hippie..." As their friend continued to get his butt kicked, Kyle, Kenny and Stan exchanged glances. Giving a slight sigh, Stan mumbled.
"You know.. This is MUCH more dramatic than it should be..."

Once Cartman had been beaten senseless and the group had gone through their introductions, Miss Juana handed Stan and Zakuro papers. While Stan went and read his, Zakuro immediately stuffed the paper in her mouth and swallowed it. As Stan and his group looked over their paper, Mishiga, Kiichigo and Shiori immediately pounced on the paper eater and somehow forced her to cough up the instructions again. Eyes growing wide, the children stared at the paper in horror. Cartman was the first to slightly recover, looking up from the paper with a look of pure agony.
"Oh God.. It's..."
"A Scavenger Hunt~! You dudes will split into two groups and come and see me when you finish- the first to finish will get a special little something..." Miss Juana chirped, not understanding why her students were looking at her with fear plastered on their faces. Cartman shook his head angrily.
"Oh hell no! We're not going to do any gay-- NYEH!" Seeing the teacher's hand approaching he leaned back, flinching. Miss Juana smiled sweetly,
"Well if no one wants to go..." She pulled on a giant spiky glove, grinning evilly, "We could find something else to do." Looking up, the teacher found the land empty- besides Zakuro who was jumping up and down swinging her arm wildly.
"OH! Mememememe!!!!" However, a peeved Mishiga quickly dragged her off from the scene by her ear.

Looking over the list, Stan shook his head.
"I can't read ANY of this- it's too faded... None of it makes sense." With one look Kyle found the problem and switched the paper sides around.
"Oh." Stan mumbled. "Well, the first couple of items don't seem too hard... Like this one 'Twig with green leaves'... Hey Butters, can you go get that branch right up there?"
"Sure thing Stan!" Butters exclaimed, abruptly reaching for the branch and plucking it off the tree- almost. Before he could finish ripping it off, the tree hoisted him up and started thrashing him about hissing angrily. While Stan and Kyle avidly tried to free Butters from the tree by fighting its branches off with their bare hands, Cartman fell on the floor laughing hysterically. After a long fight on Kyle and Stan's side, Kenny finally came to his senses and did a 6 flip cartwheel and stole Butters away from the tree, landing safely a few feet away.
"Mrph." Kyle an Stan crowded around the two fairly excited.
"That was awesome Kenny!"
"Yeah! You finally did something!"
"MRF!" Kenny exclaimed angrily. Stan sighed.
"This is going to be a lot harder than I thought..." Butters shook his head in disagreement and held out his hand revealing the twig.
"Well at least we have this thing!"
"Aw Right Butters!!" Stan and Kyle exclaimed happily slapping the boy on the back. Annoyed, Cartman did an outlandish imitation of a Princess- from lifting his leg up and clasping his hands together to the dreamy look in his eyes.
"My hero!"
"Wow. That was too good." Kyle noted suspensefully.

Taking the list from Stan, Kyle found the next scavenger hunt item and sighed with relief.
"We just have to find some berries- and there's no such thing as killer bushes."
"Mrph Hmph Mrph!" Kenny mrphed pointing at a clump of berry bushes a few yards off, and the group ran off towards them. After staring at the bushes for a while, the boys realized something was wrong.
"Well... Go on Stan. Take the berries." Cartman insisted, impatiently.
"DUDE! You saw what that tree did! No way I'm touching that bush." Stan argued, and then quickly came up with an idea.
"Okay you guys- I have a game. You only have to pick the berries if your name is Butters." Butters thought about it for a bit and hung his head.
"Aw hamburgers- that's my name." Hesitantly, the boy took some berries off the tree and added them to the backpack that the items were being carried in and looked back at his friends, who were pale with fright.
"That wasn't so bad!" Butters insisted, confused why his friends were all freaked.
"No Butters. It's not you- it's them." Stan pointed out a couple of 3 foot lavender squirrels who were facing the group angrily and foaming at the mouth. His smile fading away, Butters managed to fit in a, "Well isn't that the darndest thing." before the squirrels leapt and ripped the group apart.

"What's the next one?" Stan managed, hoisting himself up from the squirrel onslaught as Kyle pulled out the miraculously unharmed sheet of paper.
"A leaf." Seeing one, Cartman put the leaf in Stan's backpack.
"There. Almost done with this gay thing." Immediately he began to scratch his arm. Confused, the kid looked up his face angry. " Hey! What gives?!"
"Cartman, where'd you find that?" Kyle inquired, knowing what happened- but just making sure. Cartman managed to point to an area completely covered by...
"Super Poison Ivy. Congratulations fatass." Kyle sighed in annoyance.
"AW." Cartman whined angrily. "I'm going to totally kick that Hippie's ASS!"
"Just like you did before?" Stan asked slyly, causing Cartman to boil over.
"I wasn't trying okay! She was lucky I went easy on her!"
"Just shut up." Kyle retorted, fed up.

"A flower..." Stan informed the group, reading off the last object to the bruised and. "That's not going to be too hard is it?" Looking up quickly proved the boy wrong, however. The land was snowy, chilly, and more shrubs and trees than flowers. Angry the child pinched his face together.
"Great. How are we going to find a flower in the Colorado Mountains?!" Just then a flying Kiichigo burst through the trees backwards screaming, and was cut off as she ran through the next set. Staring at the clearing oddly, the boys managed a few comments.
"Hey Kyle... Was that just the British-obsessed chick?"
"Yeah, Stan, I think so. I think so." Soon after the rest of the group ran past, not looking in the healthiest state, Mishiga shaking her fist angrily.
"KIICHIGO! STOP DOING THIS EVERY FEW HOURS! IT GETS ANNOYING!!!" Seeing a chance, Kyle called out to the group.
"Hey you guys- do you know where we can find a flower?!"
"A flower? You guys are on that one too?" Mishiga and the group stopped in their tracks for a while and she thought for a bit, looking at the other group.
"I don't really think we're supposed to tell you..."
"THERE'S A REALLY, REALLY WEIRD TEMPLEOFDOOMANDSTUFF WHERE THERE'S A FLOWER! THAT'S WHERE WE'RE GOING AFTER WE GET KIICHIGO!" Zakuro blurted out happily jumping up and down, causing Mishiga and Shiori to angrily pummel her into the snow shouting,
"YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO TELL THEM, ZAKURO!!!" Intrigued, Stan asked the next question,
"So where is this TempleofDoomandStuff?"
"Mrph."
"It's over a few paces from above the Bombs and Heavy Artillery class. The entrance looks like a small hole in the snow." Shiori informed the group, getting her a beating from Mishiga as well.
"SHIORI! I THOUGHT YOU WERE ON MY SIDE!" Shiori pulled herself up and shrugged.
"What? We PvP'd! You just can't refuse someone who you PvP'd with information!" Leaping up, Zakuro punched the air happily, shouting.
"PVP TRUST BONDS!!!" Seeing the empty area, the girl made a face. "They all up and left now!!" Sighing angrily Mishiga urged the group on. "Come on, let's get Kiichigo and beat them to the flower."

Slipping through the icy hole that the girls had informed them of, the boys looked about in amazement. The area was made of all stone, pillars and all. They passed through the front doors easily and looked about. They were about to step into the next room when Cartman, itching his arm furiously stopped them.
"You guys- don't step any further. I saw this in a movie- it's a trap."
"Yeah right Cartman!" Kyle muttered, stepping onto the stones, which then clicked and an arrow zoomed past, lodging itself in Kyle's hat. Pulling off his hat, Kyle pulled his hat off and stared at it in disbelief.
"Holy ----, dude!" Stan exclaimed, "Cartman was right!!"
"Mrf mriphi hmph?" Kenny inquired and the other boys agreed.
"Yeah, what do we do now Cartman?" Cartman looked at the group and shrugged.
"I don't know."
"You don't know? Well that's just great." Kyle muttered.
"Well aren't we short enough to just pass under them without getting killed?"
"Shut up Butters."
"Yes sir."
"Mrph Mrph mif hmph?"
"I don't know about you Kenny, but last time I checked we didn't have magical Spiderman powers."
"We know how to get in." Turning around, the group found themselves face to face with Mishiga and Kiichigo. Annoyed, Cartman crossed his arms over his chest.
"Oh really."
"Totally." Mishiga grinned, and then turned back. "ZAKURO, SHIORI!!" Soon after, the cave began to rumble and in from the entrance of the cave burst in an army tank. The tank stopped right behind Mishiga and it's hatch opened to reveal Zakuro's head which was covered by an unlatched hard-helmet. The girl saluted Mishiga and grinned insanely.
"Sergeant Zak and Shiori reportin' for duty Admiral Mishi and Kiich!" Cartman looked at the tank in astonishment.
"Ah- Kickass." Kyle shrugged.
"Well there's one way to cheat in Indiana Jones predicaments." Shiori popped up in Zak's place and waved her arms.
"Dude! It's like an effing video game- man!" Mishiga motioned for the group to join them.
"Let's go get a flower."

And so the group passed the whole temple of obstacles- giant cliffs? Rolled over them like bumps. Evil Boulders? Giant Missiles beat Boulders. Ancient Walls hand constructed to withstand any intrusions? Ha- it took only 4 seconds to destroy. Evil zombies? Meet tank wheels. Soon they came across the flower at the end of the temple. The group huddled around the flower which was growing on a planter-like pedestal.
"The Ultra-Rare-Super-Rare-Awesome-Rare-Totally-Rare-Cool-Rare-Rare flower." Kiichigo marveled at it causing Cartman to glance at her angrily.
"How the hell do you memorize a name like that!?!"
"So who's going to take it?!" Butters brought up a good point. Mishiga smiled.
"Well, of course we are. We're the ones who thought up the tank idea." Stan shook his head angrily.
"Heck no! We got here first!" As an argument broke out among the groups, Zakuro snatched the flower and ran out the emergency exit shouting "RUN SCENE!!!"

Thus a run scene began! Zakuro was tripped three steps before she got to the door, and Stan came into possession of the flower. He burst out of the temple, but the flower was snatched from his hands by Kiichigo who decided to take the tree-route. As Kiichigo put on a burst of speed to Miss Juana's, Kyle shook the branch and knocked her off, therefore taking the flower. Yet Mishiga already had this under control and tackled the skullcaped boy and ran off with the flower. She was cut short by Butters who knocked her down with an apple and stole the prize from her, as well as scooping up his apple. Yet this burglary was stopped by Shiori who slammed Butters with a nearby branch and took the flower, once again giving the edge on Cabin 2. However, Kenny ambushed her by jumping on top of her from a tree and ran off with the flower. Just when he thought he was off scot-free, Cartman knocked the boy out with a frying pan and stole the flower. Angrily, Kyle huffed up to the scene.
"What'd you do that for Fattass!?! He was on our team!"
"MRF!" Kenny angrily complained, leaning up again.
"Team? Oh right.. Teams..." Cartman murmured, moving towards Miss Juana's place.

Bursting into Miss Juana's class all the kids began arguing over the competition to Miss Juana who was watching a very.. Odd video on her television. This quickly shut the children up, as she frantically tried to turn it off. Surprised, Cartman managed a few words.
"What the hell was that?" The teacher smiled innocently.
"Oh nothing~" Zakuro looked at the teacher in disbelief.
"Was that a Plant Porno?" Sadly to say, this comment lost her the ability to be involved in any activities for a while. Shaking this away, Stan just held out the backpack.
"Look. We got all the freaking stuff for the Scavenger hunt in here- where's our prize?"

Sitting outside the cabin, Cartman squeaked a Superdog Squeaky toy a couple of times.
"Well that was gay." Stan mumbled angrily, and Cartman agreed.
"I hate Hippies. We go and risk our lives- just for a frikking squeaky toy." However, this freaking squeaky toy was quickly snatched out of Cartman's hands by an eager Mr. Fido who ran off with it. Stan just slapped his head.
"Aw.. AW!" Angry, Cartman trampled after the teacher.
"GET BACK HERE YOU STUPID DOG-MAN!!!"
